Excellent book, ideal for left-handed players - no need to mentally rotate the charts from traditional to left on the fly. Shows 116 distinct chords which should keep most of us beginners busy learning for the next 100 years or so. For experienced players, its an excellent reference book. While I chose different fingerings of some of the chords, its still a very good book/useful tool, and given that it can be had for $1.00 used, its a steal.
It is exactly what I needed. Sometimes it is hard to visualize reversing a right-handed chord to play it. The conventional teacher says just learn to play right-handed. For a true lefty, this is not an option.
I use this book alongside Hal Leonard's Left handed method book and they complete my practice needs. I'm always looking for good left handed books as they don't come along often and this one is a keeper.
I bought this as a Christmas present for my husband and he loves it. Very nice book with the ease of understanding and he liked the bigger print too.
Good for the beginning guitarist. Easy to read & understand. Relatively inexpensive. It's kinda an old school type of "book" to learn music.
I like the good clear pictures of fingering.
Much better than trying to read a chord list upside down. Makes finding chords easily though an index would be helpful to detrimine "families of chords" to speed lookup
Clearly written and presented. I use mine for rarely used chords.
