So far, all three books in the series provide an escapist action novel experience that is great for summer reading. They are certainly not "serious" literature, but they are never intended to be anything other than a fun read and a way to bring the Pine Island area to the attention of the reader. These books remind me of another author who sets his secret agent crime fighter in the same corner of the state, and I do not mean that in a negative way.That being said, the editing is awful, with numerous typos throughout the books. In addtion, there are at least a couple of just plain factual errors that jumped off the screen. Referring to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays may have worked in 2005, but it is 2018. Being located on a river in Ft. Myers/ Cape Coral does not make it convenient to get to Florida's eastern seaboard.The author refers to the speed with which he is getting the books through editing and out for availability, which is admirable. How about a little more time re-reading and catching the obvious errors.
Mr. Harden has created another five star masterpiece and every episode is definitely a thrilling adventure. This is one of the most interesting series I have had the opportunity to follow, and I am more than apprehensive throughout the entire process of far-reaching action. The characters selected certainly are impressive in their assignments and the author apparently did his research before penning his first word. Too, storylines are perfectly defined to the a room at hand. I am normally a western adventure reader, but this espionage action certainly whets my appetite too. I definitely recommend this series to anyone loving unbelievable ongoing excitement, as these stories will definitely curl your toes. There is never a dull minute from beginning to end, and the ongoing mysterious escapades kept me riveted to my chair until the final word! Don't miss this series, or the loss will be overwhelming!😂
Jude Hardin writes in a easy flowing, page-turning style. I started with the first book in the Ellie O’Connor series and never stopped until the last (?) Book 4. Still waiting on Book 5 promised in January, 2019 and here it is March, 2019. I love the main Character, Ellie, a seemingly normal female with extraordinary talents that can take down a spec ops male. I am a tech ops books groupie and Mr. Hardin has my attention. I will now embarks on reading the rest of his books. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I have to admit...the pressure was on for this book. As the third in this series, and as good as the first two were, my expectations were high for this one. Hardin DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The plot continues to grow, thicken, and makes me even more cranky that book four isn’t ready for my instant gratification. I can’t wait to devour the last book! Bitter Tide has me hungry for more!
This was the last book in this series and it didn't disappoint. Pay attention to all the players in this story as you go along.This book melds them all. I found it a bit tough to remember all these characters because there were so many and some had aliases. All told a great ending for a great series.
This is the 3rd book in the series - start with the first. If you like the first 2, then you will like this one. I am looking forward to the 4th story to see how Hardin wraps up the various stories going on. While waiting for the 4th book, I will go try out the prequel he recently released and hope he gets the 4th book out quickly.
Very good I have enjoyed the series and am looking forward to the next #4. This book did throw a good twist into the heart of the story line.
Fantastic book ! It is full of different characters, of which the reader knows not the true meaning nor allegiance. Keeps you on yeh edge of you mental seat!
