good reference book if you are writing a Victorian era novel, though the format of the text and lack of an index make it difficult to fully utilize..

I expected something a little more comprehensive. It would be a good companion to a standard dictionary of the period.
I was very excited for this book. Unfortunately, I received a book that had a fair amount of damage to it, when I thought I would be getting a brand new one. The front cover is bent, it's dirty, there's damage to the sound, and two of the pages are completely out of focus. All in all, I am quite disappointed with this product. This is nothing against the book itself, just the quality.
