The book details the author's techniques and experiences crafting bows, arrows and accessories. What I enjoyed were the author's deductions of the techniques used during the height of the plains Indian horse culture through his experiences of making bows in a traditional fashion. I't s a fun read.
I loved the historical aspect and the book is very well written. Very practical!
