About the Author
received an MS from the University of Dayton. She has taken postgraduate studies at Ohio State, West Virginia University, Kent State, and Ohio University. She was employed as a dental assistant/hygienist in oral surgery, orthodontics, and general practices before she became a dental assisting instructor and Diversified Cooperative Health Occupations coordinator at Belmont Career Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio. Along with teaching duties she chartered the National Honor Society participation of the vocational school and was advisor for the VICA opening and closing ceremony team to National competition representing the state of Ohio. Mrs. Dofka has retired from active teaching but maintains life membership in the Iota Lambda Sigma, professional vocational teaching fraternity, DANB dental assisting certification, and maintains retired status as dental hygienist in West Virginia. She is currently serving in consultation practice and advisory board capacity as well as volunteer activities.

Great supplement to the notes. Even though the course wasn’t completed, it still is interesting information.
Needed for my daughters high school and came in good shape as described
I have found that with my dental Assisting students, many of them do not"get" pronunciation. Granted, there are many medical/dental terms whichdefy regular rules, but some are a given.This book, especially, with the CD was a real help to those students as they werestarting out.
