Now I loved the first two books of this series. The first two were by far the best books I’ve read and they made me laugh so much. However, book 3? No, I finished it because I love Raven Kennedy. But I hated the plot, and the characters. I didn’t like the direction the story went in. I want to blow raspberries at this book.
I have been waiting for this book. And as I was nearing the end I was thinking that there was going to be more to Emelles story. So I am super sad and completely bummed to learn that there won’t be. I loved this last installment and judging from the epilogue there might be something for Belren and Lex. That would be amaze balls. I loved every single crazy thing that came out of Emelles mouth. The only thing I wish there was, was more moments between Okot and Emelle. I definitely feel like she had had an over abundant amount of time with the genfins and very little with Okot.But I absolutely loved and will most certainly be sad that there is no more to come.
I don't know if I can put into words how much I love this book and this series. It is absolutely one of my all time favorites and the characters- the FMC is hilarious and the men are steaming hot.If you love sexy times, laughing while reading in the most inappropriate times, fantasy, and a great story check out this series!This last book was a great ending for Emelle and her guys. I honestly don't have any thoughts on what I would have liked to have happened differently (which usually I have some thoughts). Honestly one of the best books I've read for RH and anything really.
I couldn't wait to read this book but I was also hesitant because I wasn't ready to say goodbye to these characters. I couldn't hold out and devoured it in one sitting. I think everything wrapped up nicely. I wish things had gone a bit differently in regards to a certain mate but things still worked out ok. I loved getting to see more of cupidville, Belren and the addition of Lex in this book. There were a few unanswered questions with this story but I assume those will be answered with the spin off that was teased at the end. I am super excited for it!
What can I say that you don’t already know. This book is amazing I was so excited for it and now I am absolutely devastated that it is over. The store was great the MC was astonishing I loved how random and hilarious she was. I cried, I laughed and I raged while reading. The best feature that makes a great author is the ability to make the reader feel everything your characters in the book feels. For me I love reading to get away from my own life so to feel like your being pulled into the world of your book is the best feeling to have while reading. Raven Kennedy you have done it again with everything you have written I have become an even bigger fan. Congratulations and good job. I can’t wait to see what is next.
There are some stories that no matter how long ago you read it, you always remember it. Doesn't matter the genre it holds up for all time. I honestly feel that this story will be that for me. There is something so amazing about Raven Kennedy's writing that pulls you in and makes you feel so much a part of the story. I adored everything about all of the characters in this series and and will be diligently crossing my fingers for a Belren story to come. And for the record, Okot is mine. I'm claiming him forever and ever!
This series is definitely one of my favorites. Emelle is hilarious. I literally laugh out loud when I have read these books. The stuff that comes out of her mouth. The relationship between her and her mates is awesome. This book in particular wasn’t my favorite. I felt like Raven had a hard time getting the story going. But I still liked it and over all felt like she did a good job coming full circle. I’m disappointed we don’t dive into where exactly Emelle came from. But that’s ok. Looking forward to reading more from Raven.
Raven Kennedy writes with this amazing balance of tension and humor. Her quirky MC is able to pull of these crazy stunts and face off against the truly scary villains that were created in this world. This story just rocks. There are hot scenes and hilarious scenes (soap anyone?), the ending is just that heart warming sort of fuzzy feels that you want from a great love story. Highly recommend.
