So. The book is a bit out of date. It was written in 2012. The humor isn’t funny and I feel some what patronized. Also it’s a very pedestrian when it comes to weddings. It seems to be written for those who have never been to a wedding.I did like the money saving tips.

This book is totally geared to the grooms with a mention of "Groomzillas". Alot of "guy" referrences and perfect for gay couples who don't have a clue how to start planning thier wedding. I'm the mom in one case and the Matron of honor for my best friend, we are having a great time planning with this book. Far better than some books I've looked at.
